The Evidence of Absence is not the Absence of Evidence

" absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence " One of many funny quotes by Gin Rummy off of the Boondocks cartoon. Miss that damn show.

But I did not use it the way that they said it or intended for this purpose. For my intended purpose it is about the absence of evidence of having or being in a relation versus the absence of the evidence that they are in or having a relationship.

Relations continues to be the hot topic. lol Well, the issue for them remains me obviously. lol

When you distance yourself, put distance between you and another then you are setting things up so there is an absence of something. And absence does NOT make the heart grow fonder. It is just another stupid phrase someone came up with to make sure misery has company.

See, when it becomes evidence that you are absent or taking an absence then it registers within me that you have decided on a demotion from your current role. I won't chase or beg for someone to stay or maintain their relationship. i will support their decision fully.

The absence is used as a crutch or safety net for some to keep from feeling or getting invested in someone else That is where the evidence of absence is negative and used as a tool or weapon.

Absence does make you miss the one you love. It makes you want, need and make the effort to see them. That is when it is a driving force and a reminder.

When the evidence is shown, then there is no need to fight it. The absence and choice was made. So it is time that you act accordingly.
