Your Rite of Passage
Come here I say
As I embrace you
Tenderly
Looking into your face
As the blade pierces
Breaks the skin
And the realization of your brain
As you think
Contemplate
While realizing that
This is the end
I feel the warmth of blood
Beginning with a trickle
Increasing in flow
As I push the knife in more
The tip opening your right ventricle
I feel you shock increase
As you grasp at what is happening
As your heart begins erratic beat
You think this is it
As I pull the knife out again
You are ready to give up
To give me the ghost
Instead
I slide the blade between your ribs
Pierce both of your lungs
So I can hear the air escape out
Like an aqualung
Except in this case
Reverse breathing
Here I leave you
Prostrate and dismembered
With me being the one and only thing
You see and remember
Taken
Your heart and soul
Your lungs deflated in my hands
This is where you are
REBORN
Focus
Submission
Passion and soul
Your heart now holds
The power and skills
To attain
Destiny
