Change is something that inspires natural fear and trepidation. But it is also the thing that creates, maintains and stimulates the things we need to do and should do.
Whether we go quietly or violently in the dark. It all remains the same.
That Day
When I accepted how deeply I loved you
Smile on my face and made the proclamation
Leaping uninhibited into the abyss
Calculated carelessness
That day
When feelings and emotions
Became Edward Ngma’s question mark
Riddle me this
Is this even feasible
Is this worth it
That day
When I kissed you the last time
As the Godfather music played
The wetness of my eyes
For the pain, discomfort and disbelief
Still bite
That day
When the feelings and emotions
Can’t be remembered
Or found
In anyway
The black slate clean and pristine
That day
You don’t need a time machine
A magic wand or DeLorean
Change is but a thought away
Will it be
That day
Or
Will you create
A day
Days that you
Made
